Where’s the love? Adobe has all sorts of icons on that Wheel-o-icons of theirs. There’s even icons on there that I’ve never seen anywhere else. So what about good’ol Actionscript, eh? Really, where’s the love? :-)
Since there isn’t an Actionscript icon I made one. That’s one of the things that I love about the new icon family: They’re so plain I can actually design one from scratch. If Adobe were still doing icon/logos like the pre-CS3 days I’d be screwed.
I’m using the Andalé Mono font because that’s my mono-spaced font of choice. I picked the color gradient to be sort of like an overlay between the Flex-gray and Flash-red.
Not sure if I like the “3” up there or not. What do you think?
Addendum: I added a link to the PSD so that people could use it if they wanted to. Help yourself. I do hearby decree that anyone and everyone is free to use the above icon in any way they see fit without attribution. Set the pixels free. That’s my motto.
